Agricultural and Food Products
Florida exports over $1.2 billion in agricultural products annually, placing it 14th nationally. With its broad elimination of tariffs, CAFTA is greatly increasing Florida�s agricultural exports when the agreement was fully implemented. Tariffs on virtually all agricultural and food products are being eliminated, being phased-out on a product and country-specific basis. One result has been the greater integration of both the agriculture and food processing industries of the United States and the CAFTA countries.
